# REST API

ZL UA provides integration of the ZL UA High Performance API Kit for compatibility with REST architecture and Web services. This results in several advantages for API development with ZL UA:

- For cloud-based Web services, REST is a global standard.
- Easy adaptation of REST APIs into any programming language.
- Simpler implementation and testing of tools built with REST-based APIs.
- Standardizes ZL UA’s API services.
- You can create your own REST API client or use existing tools like Postman and Swagger.

The ZL UA REST API provides endpoints for use with ZL modules such as Enterprise Files Management, Enterprise Analytics/Workspace, Discovery Manager, File Analysis and Management and more.
